To reduce this stress and tensions, one should start doing meditation. It relaxes the body, mind and spirit.
So, let’s start from the basics.
Understanding Meditation
Meditation is the way to wipe away the whole day’s stress and make our body and brain relax by establishing inner peace. It also gives us a lot of positive energy to work happily for the whole day.
Earlier Meditation was and had been practiced by many yogis from thousands of years to attain spiritual nirvana. Now, it has been accepted and promoted as the medicine of body and mind.
Meditation is now very common for stress reduction and relaxation.
Anybody can practice meditation but it is not something that can be achieved with in a day. You need to practice to go deep in meditation and also you should add it as a part of your regular routine.
You can do meditation at any time, but the morning and evening are generally the best times to meditate.

Morning Meditation
Doing meditation in the morning is very beneficial for both physical and mental health. Morning meditation fills you with lots of positive energy.
The basic steps of doing morning meditation are as follows:
Sit down comfortably in any open place or in your room where you cannot sleep again. Now open your hands and place it comfortably on your lap.
Close your eyes. Now feel your breath. Slowly reduce the pace of your breathing in and out by pacing the movements. Do it 6-7 times.
Once your breathing settles, start watching your thoughts. Evaluate and See the images and thoughts filtering through your brain. Avoid all the thoughts coming in your mind.
One thing that should be in your mind is to be “thoughtless”. Just try and drop all the thoughts.
Pay all your attention at the top of your head and feel that some light is falling on your head and concentrate on that light at your head.
Sit for minimum 10-15 minutes or more according to your comfort.
The first state that should be achieved in meditation is: thoughtlessness.
In brief, only through meditation you will become balanced, relaxed and will live a peaceful & stress free life without any physical, mental and emotional issues.

You’re welcome Chris 🙂 There sure is lots to EXPLORE! Namaste,
Very good way – in an easy manner to explore meditation. Thanks.
I have a problem managing my anger and losing my calm. Thanks I’m gonna try meditating now.
Just start gently, with short doses every day. Also, if you feel anger rising, that is not a bad thing. If you can – sit still… connect to your breath, look at why you are angry (learn the lesson) and then let it go. If you can escape from the emotion, and view your situation with logic and perspective, you are in the best place to progress. You will see amazing benefits instantly.
Just simply want to stress I’m glad I came in your page.
