It has been a sad time for me with the passing of our beloved dog, Charley.
It is times like this when being an Empath is really difficult and I have really struggled with this gift (or at times I think not a gift).
When Empaths have a connection we feel what the other soul is feeling. As Charley became ill I could feel her deteriorating which was far from pleasant.
At this time I want to honor our beloved Charley who brought us many years of absolute joy and all of you Empaths out there that struggle with balancing the emotions and feelings they absorb.
Empaths have the ability to physically feel the emotions of a person or animal within their auric field or whom they are connected to.
This can be tough, but the ability to understand our surroundings on a deeper level than the physical grants us the opportunity to help people heal.
Empaths are born with a knowing and intuitively know there is more to a story than meets the eye. This is why it can be difficult to lie to an Empath.
Empaths live life through their soul, not through their physical body.
Empaths are usually always happy and this energy influences optimism onto others, along with feeling of deep thought and self-reflection.
They are usually very bright, independent, imaginative, creative and adventurous as children. Empaths are also very sensitive to television, books, videos, news and broadcasts.
Violence, emotional dramas, and scenes of physical or emotional pain can bring an Empath to tears. They do not tolerate injustice well.
Empaths are the psychic sponges of the world. They soak up all of the psychic and emotional static that other people give off. Being an Empath is one of the most common psychic abilities, but I believe, it is also the most challenging one.
Empaths usually puts the needs of others before their own – and people are drawn to them for help.
This high sensitivity applies to all of the sensory organs as well so can easily be overwhelmed in crowded, noisy places.
Empaths can see to the heart of the matter and truly be present for people when they need us.
Empaths can also project calming and healing energy when and where it is needed.
So to Empaths and their patient and supportive partners I salute you. Though at times a difficult path, it is a very rewarding one.
I wish you peace, joy and love.
Each one has to find its peace from within. And peace, to be real, must be unaffected by outside circumstances.
