When young children draw pictures of people, they think it quite normal to pick bright colors and scribble over different body parts.
They don’t put much thought into it … They grab a pencil or crayon from the pile and scribble where it feels most appropriate.
For many people, this lends credibility to their belief that it is common for children to see auras.
And what do most teachers and parents do? Tell them to choose more natural colors and reward them for drawing ‘with-in the lines’.
But seeing auras is a skill that we can re-learn. (Though we first need to un-learn the ‘normal’ that has been drummed into us.)
Anyone can learn how to see the aura. Infact, it is possible to see it in two diffrent ways.
1. Physically with your eyes,
2. Or intuitively, with your mind’s eye.
Physical Aura Viewing
Let’s look at physically seeing the aura first.
Mechanically, the iris is the muscle of the eye that controls the amount of light which is let through the pupil. This light passes through the lens, which is responsible for focussing the light on the retina. The retina is a surface at the back of the eye covered in nerve fibres (called cones and rods). These nerves fibres release specific chemicals when they are stimulated – which informs your brain about different colors and their intensities.
It is said that ordinarily we use about 20% of these nerves, which is in effect, 20% of our eyes actual capacity. With eye-chart exercises (muscle and sensitivity training) this ability can be improved, which allows the subtle light of the aura to be better seen.
A good aura viewing technique to start with… is to relax in a room with a dim light – sitting before a plain colored wall. Raise one hand before you and focus intently on your fingertips for about 30 seconds. Then, when it feels right, try to take in as much of the area around your hand at once (which softens your gaze and casts light on a greater surface of your retina.)
In essence, this technique gets you to concentrate with focus on a point – and then relax your sight and take it all in.
You should start to notice a soft haze around the outline of your hand.
With practice and trust in your ability, this haze will become more clear; you will be able to see it for longer periods; and colors may start to integrate into the energy field you are seeing. As you develop your ability, the colors, clarity and vibrance of the aura will become more discernable to your naked eye.
When you get better viewing your own aura, try to see the aura of other people. It is also possible to see the auras of plants and animals. Infact, any living object with a life-force can be seen.
With all things; some people can do it naturally, others pick it up quickly once shown, others get there with perserverance, while some will give up before they get there.
Intuitive Aura Viewing
For those wanting to see the aura intuitively, it is important that you first get into a relaxed state … and then picture the person you are viewing in your mind as clearly as possible.
If they were to be surrounded by a color … What is the primary color that you would see? Explore the concept in your imagination. Let yourself go. There is no right and wrong at this stage.
What other aura colors can you see, and where are they strongest?
Ask yourself what these colors let you know about the individual’s physical health – mental state – emotional balance – and spiritual being.
If you have a willing subject – get them to project a certain color into their aura and try to guess what that color is. Then swap roles – as playing with your energy and aura colors is all practice which builds your confidence.
With both the physical and intuitive aura viewing techniques above it is important you are in the right ‘frame of mind’. Sure this means ‘positive and relaxed’, but beyond that, scientific study of brainwave patterns shows us that there is specific brainwave frequencies which are far more conducive to allowing you to see auras than others.
With Binaural Beats… Sine wave generators are used to create two separate frequency waves, which are introduced to each ear independently. The brain reacts by creating a third tone which is the difference between the two. This allows the brain to directly tune into a frequency that the ear cannot hear. This particular frequency has been seen to stimulate “Energy Sensing,” which happens in the Upper Alpha Frequencies, with many subjects reported sensing energy outside of the RGB light spectrum with their sixth sense. This energy sensing has been applied to Seeing Auras with great success.
Isochronic Tones… are the most effective type of brainwave entrainment. Isochronic Tones use equal intensity tones, but the pulse speed is greater, causing the brain to synchronize with the rhythm. The upper Alpha frequencies of the brain normally happen in bursts, making it difficult to accurately develop your Aura reading skills. Maintaining proper Alpha brainwave frequencies can be difficult, as the primary tool used to develop it is focus. But what if you lack the required focus? Well then, this tool is invaluable in your search for self improvement. It gets you there quickly and keeps you there.
