This post deals with the Energy Dynamics of Anxiety and Depression – and the Power You Have to Change It.
There is a saying, “If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present.” Lao Tzu.
I feel there is a lot of truth in this statement.
Energy flows where attention goes.
We have the choice where we place our attention, in the past, present or future. The power to change our lives is in the present; it is indeed a “present”, as it is a gift we give to ourselves.
I have experienced both anxiety and depression throughout my adult life.
I have come to realize how our thinking and the quality of our thoughts play a big role in influencing these states of being.
If you are thinking and feeling negative thoughts and emotions, it can create anxiety which can also lead you to feel depressed.
Negative Thought Forms
Being psychic, when I have been low in mood or depressed I have seen black negative thought-forms surrounding me.
What are thought-forms you may wonder? Thought-forms are energy we create with the power of our thoughts, emotions and intent. Because everything is energy, if we think negative thoughts for a period of time, it attracts like energy back to us. Our thoughts are that powerful that it attracts similar energies back to us. If you are thinking positive thoughts of joy or love, these are the energies you will attract back into your life.
If you find yourself in a state of hopelessness or despair, it is very important to call on the light for clearing and healing.
Particularly the violet light is important to visualize as it has the power to transmute and transform energy.
We are all human and it is natural to think negative thoughts from time to time. If you find yourself doing this, it is important to take some time out to call upon the light. You may like to pray to god, an angel or simply the light, it doesn’t matter what your beliefs are, as the light will still help you during your time of need. You just need to remember to ask.
Beating Anxiety and Depression with Relaxation and Meditation
It is becoming increasingly important to take time out of our busy lives for relaxation and meditation.
We are powerful beings and we really have the power to transform our negative beliefs and energy into higher states of being. It all begins with our intent and desire to do so.
Anxiety and depression don’t have to be a life sentence, remember that there is always something you can do, despite how challenging the circumstances.
Go for a brisk walk or swim, take some slow deep breathes out in nature or in the sunshine. The trick is remembering to take the appropriate action during a crisis situation.
