Having recently lost a good friend, I had opportunity to contemplate all the people around me who I am ever so grateful for.
I imagine it’s a common pattern, but I let each of my loved ones know how important they were to me, in a way that helped me grieve my loss.
Randomly, a friend sent me an email with a link to a video that I found amazing.
It’s an advertisement from the U.K. highlighting the importance of wearing your seat belt – but it’s so much more than that.
Have a look and if you are inspired to comment, please do so below.
Thank you to all of you for helping to create my existence. Namaste, Nigel.

For me,
I would say my family. and some friends and girls.
But if you want to look at it from a different perspective anyone who gives you approval, security, a sense of control or a sense of wholeness or even makes you feel seperate, our greatest desires in life are who we find important.
People are concepts in our head, our interpretations of our experiences with them in comparison to experiences with others and society and the kind of value we perceive them to have. But deep down we are the same essence.
The seatbelt advocacy commercial is beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes. Thank you, Nigel, for sharing this and bringing this persepctive right in front of me today.
Hi Cia, yes – its such a sweet, but powerful reminder about how fragile we are. It’s no wonder this ad went viral on the web when it was released. Namaste, Nigel.
you are right Nigel
this add is so much more, it brings awarness of the effect you have on other peoples lives. and the loss you can cause by mindlessness. a lesson we often forget.
Hi Emma, I subjected myself to a fun little Experiment in Mindfulness as it’s something we can always develop and work on. And usually when we are most absent-minded is when we need to be the most mindful. Blessings, Nigel.
