Welcome to my free collection of Short Spiritual Stories.
These Spiritual Stories have messages of friendship, love, self-belief and wonder interwoven through them.
Stories of the Heart
Most are set in magical times long past, but have meanings that are very relevant for those on a spiritual path today.
Some have been described as ‘fairy tales for grown-ups’, as there are characters such as princesses, fairies and ogres; while others are just stories about the beauty of love, the wonder of life, and the importance of the belief in one’s own power and abilities.
I really hope you enjoy my work – but your constructive feedback is always welcome.
Shane Sheep
Shane lay freshly born on the cold earth on a night with a deathly chill. He looked up to the stars and knew he would have to shine as brightly as they did if he was to make it through his first night.
And that is how he lives each of his following days … Shining Brightly.
Shane questions his destiny and dares to dream… He craves to learn of new things – and make discoveries in both the real world and in his mind.
But the flock is against him. They are only concerned with normal.

Recommendations…
“I love your writing! Have totally enjoyed reading your spiritual short stories. Once I started it was difficult to put them down, so I managed one story a day and loved them all. You are a very gifted and talented author and I’m wondering when you will have a full length novel published? Do let me know if there are more stories to read… It’s not often one gets to read such uplifting and inspiring work. Thank you.” Love and Blessings, Jayanti Woods – Uluru Shaman and Reiki Master
“I wish you could see my smile right now! There’s always such a beautiful spiritual essence to your stories and I’m always left feeling inspired and reminded of the goodness the universe does hold within it. You have a very beautiful heart, mind and soul. Never stop writing! Thank you – I’m touched.” Rachel Harvey

I just happened to stumble on this site. I think it’s great I tried the free medatation which was fantastic. I will certainly be a regular user of this site I think it’s brilliant.
Namaste. I have just finished reading “Thirrell of Carnation”. I loved it. Thank you. When I finished reading the story, it made me realise that all this while, I have been focusing on what I needed to do. Along the way, I had forgotten to give thanks for all that I am and only focused on all that I want to be. Thank you for bringing me back on my path. Bless you.

Brilliant Ranji, exactly my goal with my stories. They are in themselves, just a nice story to read, but each reader can draw a lesson or inspired thought that is perfectly suited to them at the time of reading. There is a lot of my imagination infused in the stories, but automatic writing also plays a part. Creating these stories is such a beautiful energy to be in. Thank you for experiencing it also. Nigel.
I have read this beautiful and tender story ‘Enchanted Love’.
I found that there are some nice life lessons in this story, showing that rewards can be given to those facing their fears & taking risks.
The best can happen and ‘fairy tales’ can come true. And life can sometimes become an ‘enchanted forest’…
Congratulations to you Nigel and continue with your imagination, sensibility and creativy…the world needs people like you to let us forget about war and bad news.
Thanks Liza, I don’t like to think of myself as ignorant to world news and events, but every time I turn on the news I get depressed that there are so many problems we face. I know miracles happen everyday also, but they dont get reported on… so I don’t watch that much TV! Fairy tales enliven the minds and imaginations of children – but no matter how old we are, we all have an inner-child that needs attention! Thanks for the kind words
Namaste, Nigel.
