Meditation is the basic practice to attain balance within our physical, mental and emotional bodies.
Meditation enables us to live with greater happiness in today’s stressful atmosphere.
Keeping yourself in balance should be a priority, but it can be a very tough task without Meditation.
Meditation provides the opportunity for everyone to receive joy and happiness in all aspects of their lives.

There can be times in many people’s lives when they may find themselves at a crossroads and not know which direction to take.
Firstly, realize you are not alone! Many people question what to do with their life at one time or another.
I receive lots of comments on Explore Meditation. Most are very supportive or thankful, and then there are some that offer true insight.
In reference to the post I wrote called “Contacting My Dead Friend“, where I filmed a clairvoyant give me a reading on the anniversary of my friends death, I received a comment from ‘Jacqui’ which I believe sums up a concept very beautifully. I emailed Jacqui to ask permission to post it (offering her a bio or return link), and all she said was “Yes, of course you can post it as an individual post, that is a kind gesture, and I thank you for it. In love and light, Jacqui.” So… here it is!
Our natural psychic gifts are related to our physical senses – and I believe we need to heighten our physical senses to develop our psychic senses.
It is difficult to hear spirit when you don’t hear what is going on in your physical world, just as it is difficult to see spirit when we don’t make the time to see what is right in front of us. Let us look at some obvious correlations.
When writing of spiritual development, it helps to find simple analogies to give perspective to deeper esoteric principals. With that in mind, I ask you to please consider the humble light bulb.
In essence there are two forms working together.
The physical structure that gives it a real-world presence and the energetic component of light.
An outer shell – and an inner life force. Sound familiar?

How does one become or remain balanced in an imbalanced world?
With so much negativity and suffering happening in the world, it can be a challenge not to get drawn in and affected by it. You only have to switch on the TV or listen to the radio to hear about all the negativity and bad things happening in the world. Mainstream news is usually roughly 90% negative and 10% positive, which is very unbalanced reporting.
It also isn’t an accurate reflection of the majority of humanity; most people are inherently good.

I would like to share this story with you – Author unknown.
One day a man saw an old lady stranded on the side of the road. Even in the fading light of the day, he could see she needed help. He pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Even with a smile on his face, she was worried as he approached. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn’t look safe; he looked poor and hungry.
He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was those chills which only fear can put in you.
He said, “I’m here to help you, ma’am. Why don’t you wait in the car where it’s warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.”
I get the relationship between astrology and astronomy.
As the planets move to different positions they affect our energy and behavior. I see this easily with the relationship between the ocean tides and the moon.
But when Numerology was first explained to me, I thought the people that believed it were gullible and desperate for insight.
To define it, Numerology is the method of creating a relationship between numbers and living things.
I.e. Each letter of the alphabet has been given a numeric value. A=1, B=2, C=3, etc. If you write your name down and allocate the values to each letter, you can add up those values in different ways to tell you divined secrets about your personality and destiny.
I’m not sure when you will be reading this, but I’m writing it not long after the start of a new calendar year. No this isn’t a post about the importance of setting New Year resolutions – I’ve never really gone for that.
I like to think that I have the ability to make important decisions for my well-being at any time of the year!
The reason this has come up for me now is that I went camping over New Years and really got back to basics. As I strolled knee deep in the crystal clear waters of Station Creek, with is golden sandy bottom and a gentle ocean tide making it perfect to lay back and float down, I re-realized how much I enjoy getting away from it all.
The computer, work, deadlines, expectations, commitments, the phone, the TV … all of it. It’s not that any of those things are bad by themselves, but for me, when they are a constant pressure for too long I get blinded from my life’s true joys.
So the solution would appear to be easy – Take more holidays and find my happy place.
But there is one major hurdle. I’m too busy.
There are many paths to enlightenment and no particular right or wrong way to get there.
Essentially it is about going within, working on your thoughts and belief structures and taping into your sub conscious mind.
There becomes a time where the conscious and sub conscious minds merge; whereas before the sub-conscious was hidden, yet still influencing your thoughts and day-to-day living.
To me this defines what enlightenment means, to have greater awareness.

We are multidimensional beings and it is commonly known we comprise of three parts; a mind, body and spirit.
It is also known that energetically we have a physical body, an emotional body, a mental body and a spiritual body.
The human body is made of light that has slowed to a point that it has become dense matter. Part of the journey humanity is on at this time, is to ascend and grow spiritually. Everyone needs healing on some level. For those on the path, the physical body is beginning to change and become less dense.
The energy in our auras is also changing and beginning to vibrate quicker. Our cells are changing to hold more light, so we can hold more of our spirit in human form. This is a gradual process that occurs over many years.

Lately I’ve been enjoying some time away from computers and technology.
I came to the realization that in one sense technology liberates us but at the same time also can enslave us.
The enslavement is the time it takes out of our days, where we could be enjoying the sunshine or a sunset.
I started to think about freedom and what it really means to be free.

I would like to talk to you about earthbound spirits and why they are different to spirits that cross over. Fortunately there are not as many as most people think as the majority of spirits do cross over.
I think it is a shame that in most cultures there are misconceptions and fear surrounding death. Sadly, most people are not comfortable discussing this subject. I have found that although all spirits are given the choice of crossing over some decide not to.
Trust is built with consistency.
If we want to trust ourselves, then we have to trust we have the capacity to change things for the better, and be consistent with those thoughts.
If we always limit ourselves with negative thinking and speech like; “I’m not” or “I can’t”, then that will result in not trusting ourselves.
As my friend re-filled his water bottle, he took a marble from one container and placed it into another. I asked what he was doing and he explained to me it was part of the ‘Counting Principle‘.
For every goal you can make quantifiable – you will be naturally driven to improve.
I realized that human beings are geared for growth.
The time we spend in school is learning lessons, sitting tests, and progressing when we have proven our worth. Our applicable intelligence is valued on a scale with reference to the pass-mark. If I was a C student and now I’m a B, I am rewarded by my support network and by the increase in self-worth.
The brain is the organ in our body which allows us to think and interact with the environment; through perception and cognition.
Our brain constantly builds neurons while learning from the new challenges we face each day.
Just like the physical body, our brain also needs to be exercised, if it is to perform at its best.
It is very important to perform tasks that challenge your brain. This helps in building intellect, co-ordination, physical agility, enhanced memory and advanced cognitive behaviors.
Heaven and Hell; they both live within us.
This may be a challenging thought but I really believe we create our heaven or our hell based on our perception.
We will all have difficult times to face on our journey.
I believe the trick is not to dwell there any longer than we have to. We need to just stay in the light with our thoughts and try to move forward.
The problem often is that people look for success in the wrong places and then get disgruntled when they don’t find what they are looking for.
Guess what world? I am enough, just as I am.
I actually haven’t felt this way for very long.
For as many years as I can remember I’ve always wanted to ‘improve my existence’.
As soon as I started school I was challenged to make good grades, do well at sport, and be nice to everyone.
I had parents and teachers keeping me on track to do just that … and they would complement me when I did it well and reprimand me when I didn’t.
It was the same scenario at University – although I was now in charge of the effort I put in. Through natural progression I had assumed that responsibility.
Into my working life, I then had KPI’s to achieve (Key Performance Indicators) and workplace reviews … ‘Pull up your socks’ or ‘Job well done, here’s a raise!’
All of those years of structured development within the confines of good/bad and punishment/reward had aligned my brain to a certain way of thinking.
I had to work hard to do things well and achieve my goals.
I am often asked, “What’s the difference between a Psychic and a Medium?”
Let me explain how I see this.
This the very simple explanation I give as an example, knowing of course, that life and its energies aren’t always that simple.
