2012 – Will it be the end of the world or the beginning of something beautiful?
Since the fall of Atlantis thousands of years ago, in our collective consciousness we have held a fear about Armageddon occurring and the end of the world.
Many souls that experienced the fall and apocalypse of Atlantis are also alive today on the planet.
Essentially we are here to create a new golden age and ensure that what happened in Atlantis won’t happen again.
I recently had the opportunity to ‘get away’. Some people think I’m crazy when I tell them, but yes, I went camping by myself.
No I didn’t get bored, I wasn’t scared and I wasn’t worried about the many things that could have gone wrong. It was 4 days and three nights of bliss.
I love my computer and the many wonderful things it can do, but no achievement by man has come close to the efforts of Mother Nature. She combines a million factors in balance and no where is the cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth more apparent.
For some of you the perfect holiday may be sitting beside a pool on a deck chair ordering a few fancy drinks. And don’t get me wrong – that would be lovely too, but let me tell you quickly about the Bunya Mountains.
Mirrors are an interesting topic as everyone can relate to them on some level.
What is a mirror you may ask?
Physical mirrors aside, Mirrors are based on the principle that everything in the external world is simply a reflection of our internal state of being. It’s also the law of attraction in action.
Wherever you are in the world, and at whatever time and day you are reading this…
I welcome you to Backwards Week!
Your next 7 days can be transformational if you wish.
If you accept the challenge below, (it’s easy and fun), you will be testing yourself and only you will be holding yourself accountable.
There is no pass or fail, but merely the opportunity to take a short journey of exploration into yourself.
I send a lot of email in my day to day, be they personal or promotional for Explore Meditation.
As a creative spirit I get bored easily when stuck in a pattern – so when it comes to the sign off I always try to be different.
All the best, Kindest regards, At your service, In Love and Light, Till then then…
But I was always intrigued by the one I was never game to use…
Trust is built with consistency.
If we want to trust ourselves, then we have to trust we have the capacity to change things for the better, and be consistent with those thoughts.
If we always limit ourselves with negative thinking and speech like; “I’m not” or “I can’t”, then that will result in not trusting ourselves.
Energy is contagious. We see and feel this all of the time.
For example, you just have to have one person gossiping or putting someone down in the workplace and the negative energy begins to filter into the environment – Or if you are in a room full of babies, one can start to cry and before you know it they are all crying.
The good news is it is up to us to decide what form of energy we wish to spread.
In today’s post, I am asking you to consider the absence of stimulus.
The reason being is that I am attempting to live without television for one month.
Why? Because they were digging a new drain several blocks from my house, the cable got cut, and the suburb was without TV for about 24 hours.
Now, my place is quite small – so I usually have the TV on a music channel for background noise. But when I picked up the remote and clicked the button, it was an eerie feeling to see a blue screen with the ‘No Signal’ message.
It was like an old friend didn’t like me anymore.

Transcending victim consciousness is an interesting topic to contemplate.
On a human level our awareness is somewhat limited, in comparison to our soul’s level of awareness. We all have a soul, but it can be a faint whisper in our lives, unless you nurture this connection.
For many the ego and personality are the driving force in one’s life, but this is also gradually changing, as we go through the shift in consciousness. As human beings we have free will, so whether these inner and outer changes happen quickly or slowly is up to us.
In the spirit world before we are born and have decided to come to earth, a contract or soul agreement is drawn up with our guides.
This contract also involves other people, our family, friends and future partners, who we choose to grow and learn from. When we are born into this world, for the most part we agree to forget our real home, our past lives and our soul agreements.
I wear many hats. I only have one head, so I imagine from the outside I look like a fancy circus-juggler dazzling the crowd with my frantic hat-swapping abilities.
Is this a good thing or bad thing? Well, that would depend on the time of day you ask me. If I was full of positive energy and riding a wave – on top of the world; if I was spinning in circles looking dazed and confused – not so much.
But for people like me who jump from project to project, or idea to idea, where we place our focus is the direction of our life path.

I’ve been on a spiritual path for several years now. It was a rocky road.
At about eighteen, I had a breakthrough. After 5 years of struggling to find an answer to my ongoing existential crisis, I realised that I had been wrong about everything.
I mean everything. I mean, the Universe.
As my friend re-filled his water bottle, he took a marble from one container and placed it into another. I asked what he was doing and he explained to me it was part of the ‘Counting Principle‘.
For every goal you can make quantifiable – you will be naturally driven to improve.
I realized that human beings are geared for growth.
The time we spend in school is learning lessons, sitting tests, and progressing when we have proven our worth. Our applicable intelligence is valued on a scale with reference to the pass-mark. If I was a C student and now I’m a B, I am rewarded by my support network and by the increase in self-worth.
Well I am not long back from another camping trip. Now some people might like to spend their break lying on the couch, doing the chores they can never find time for, or sitting on a deck chair drinking fancy drink with umbrellas.
Me? I love getting back to nature… with no phone, no clock and no computer.
The most easterly point of Australia is Byron Bay. (If you can picture a map of Australia it is about half way up on the right.) The world heritage listed wilderness of Toonumbar National Park is about 2 hours inland from there.
I saw this quote and it really made me think…
“Your beliefs don’t make you a better person, your behavior does.”
So your beliefs do not define who you are – your actions do.
But how often do we hold up our beliefs or hide behind them?
Our beliefs are really just meant to be a heading on who we are and how we act.
What is the point of having beliefs if they don’t manifest in our day to day lives and define who we are?
Is our Destiny pre-planned or do we have choice?
Human destiny is an interesting topic to explore, as many people in their lives will wonder what the future has in store for them.
Generally there are two schools of thought on this subject.
One belief is that we create our own destiny with our thoughts, words and actions, moment by moment, each day.
The other school of thought is that our destiny is already pre-planned; we created it before we were born.

How does one become or remain balanced in an imbalanced world?
With so much negativity and suffering happening in the world, it can be a challenge not to get drawn in and affected by it. You only have to switch on the TV or listen to the radio to hear about all the negativity and bad things happening in the world. Mainstream news is usually roughly 90% negative and 10% positive, which is very unbalanced reporting.
It also isn’t an accurate reflection of the majority of humanity; most people are inherently good.
Mountains are symbolic in life of overcoming one’s challenges – and rising to the top and succeeding.
We all have different challenges in life to overcome that we have chosen from a spiritual level. As we overcome a challenge, we don’t have to address it again, and we can move onto bigger and better things.
This is also the nature of ascension.
Like a mountain, the journey becomes steeper and more challenging the higher you climb; but the rewards are also greater.

Lately I’ve been enjoying some time away from computers and technology.
I came to the realization that in one sense technology liberates us but at the same time also can enslave us.
The enslavement is the time it takes out of our days, where we could be enjoying the sunshine or a sunset.
I started to think about freedom and what it really means to be free.
Life can be full of curve balls. My beloved dog Charley just had a lump removed from her leg. They have found it to be a rare and very quick growing cancer. They are confident they have removed all of it and its roots, so good news there. As I sat reflecting on what had happened (knowing that everything happens for a reason) I could not help but wonder why (don’t you just love being human), because when I Reiki myself in the mornings I also Reiki Charley.
I’m not sure when you will be reading this, but I’m writing it not long after the start of a new calendar year. No this isn’t a post about the importance of setting New Year resolutions – I’ve never really gone for that.
I like to think that I have the ability to make important decisions for my well-being at any time of the year!
The reason this has come up for me now is that I went camping over New Years and really got back to basics. As I strolled knee deep in the crystal clear waters of Station Creek, with is golden sandy bottom and a gentle ocean tide making it perfect to lay back and float down, I re-realized how much I enjoy getting away from it all.
The computer, work, deadlines, expectations, commitments, the phone, the TV … all of it. It’s not that any of those things are bad by themselves, but for me, when they are a constant pressure for too long I get blinded from my life’s true joys.
So the solution would appear to be easy – Take more holidays and find my happy place.
But there is one major hurdle. I’m too busy.
