When you are on the spiritual path, you are naturally drawn to look for the lessons you can learn in everything you do, and from the people that you meet.
It gives a greater understanding to the good, the bad, and the ugly.
What also happens as your energetic vibration increases is that you tend to resonate better with others on the path and choose to spend your time in ways that are more likely to give you opportunities for growth.
(I once laughed out loud when I realized I was really enjoying my Friday night doing Yoga and discussing eastern philosophy – instead of being at the pub busting-lose with some dodgy disco dancing.)
But as well as spiritual growth, my personal journey incorporates the desire for psychic growth. Although in the same suburb, they are different avenues to drive down and explore.
So when I meet those who are very psychically connected – I crave to learn all that I can.
I love that the Explore Meditation website gives me the perfect excuse to question the truth.
I recently went to see the Professional Psychic Medium Wendy Rosvall-Brookes on the anniversary of my friends passing.

But half way through that amazing experience, I took off my ‘client’ hat, and put on my ‘explorer’ hat, to ask Wendy about the process of Psychic Mediumship.
I started by asking about the main reasons people go and see a psychic, and what type of information she can provide to them.
Wendy explains that people visit a psychic;
- To contact loved-ones that have passed. (Anniversaries, important dates, or whenever they are compelled)
- If their business is facing trouble and they can’t see the bigger picture.
- If people are confused by their relationships … or things aren’t working out as well as they would like. Often an insightful spiritual perspective may shed light on a solution.
- Commonly, people ask about whether they are ‘on the right path’.
- People visit psychics when they are in need … In need of hope, peace and perspective.
When I ask if it’s our duty to know the future, instead of being satisfied with the present, Wendy explains that it’s personal preference, with neither perspective being right or wrong.
She adds that it’s important to understand that knowing the future is not absolute – as we are free-willed human beings with the privilege of choice.
Psychics give one possible future, which you can either work towards or ignore.
Everyone has psychic potential, as we have experienced those coincidences such as knowing the song that is about to come on the radio, or knowing that the phone is about to ring, or hearing it ring and knowing who it is. We all get ‘vibes’ when we meet a person or enter a room and feeling an enlightening or negative energy.
It’s important to note that not all of us are here to develop our psychic abilities. If my primary lesson in this incarnation is ‘service’, then I can very satisfactorily submerge myself in that lesson without ever exploring my psychic potential, (for example).
Wendy also gives great detail of her psychic family, (the spiritual beings she works with) and how each helps her with her abilities.
I’m grateful people like Wendy are so open and sharing/caring with their time, effort and energy. Not only did I receive the blessing of making contact with my friend – I also learnt more of the ‘process’ to better my understanding of life, death, and the after-life.

I raise a deep concern that I have about ‘psychic investigation’. I will not be surprised if my comments go unheeded by those that feel that they are contributing to others by providing psychic assistance to them. I fear that though they are sincere they risk much in such practice. The spiritual realm works by different ways that are unfamiliar to living people. Like a foreign language discernment of true from false is not reliable without proper training from a knowledgeable, higher source that can be trusted. There are many on the other side that delight in deceiving the living for different purposes, including just for the ego-boost they experience from being a ‘guide’. Swedenborg & St. Augustine had bad dreams (while being under the influence of deceivers who were absolutely NOT God or godly, and so came up with the false belief of Hell with its unquenchable fire & brimstone, where the disobedient (non-church goers, supposed heretics, protestants, heathens etc.) are tortured forever. Give me a break!!
Entities, such as deceased evil & mischievous dead people, are quick to speak through a medium posing as a deceased loved one, with the sole purpose of deceiving those who are mourning their deceased loved one. (Their deceased loved ones, more often as not, have already moved on to higher levels in the world of spirit & are focused on their development & have moved away from their earth-life. Mind you they still care for their loved ones here on Earth but have generally moved on.) On the other hand those that spent their life doing bad things haven’t moved on & love to spend their time in mischief.
These are generally the beings that speak through or are in contact with mediums. Dangerous practice for the medium & for those they are trying to help.
Both engage with this at their peril.I know I sound like religious nut-case, but I believe what I’ve written is completely true.
One doesn’t have to put one’s hand in a fire to know that it will hurt. But some will always try experience as a teacher.

In reply to K…i have had a few readings, by psychics. The ones that I go to have always protected themselves with divine light, there is no way an evil entity can come through.
Here is my experiences. When my Mother or Father or Sister have come through, they relate always positive and loving energy. I can feel the vibration of their love and peace.
The mediums I have talked to, two in fact have always blessed the interview with the protection of the white light of the Holy Spirit. I feel that some may have had a bad experience because they were not protected. We do not know exactly what is going on in every one’s life, who or what they are allowing ti happen personally to themselves before they see the psychic. Soo the physics also protect themselves as well.
I have always had beautiful peaceful and loving messages that know one would absolutely know except from my beloved loved ones who have passed on!
