Well some exciting news for all of you aspiring writers, or people that have a spiritual website, blog, meditation package or product.
How would you like to be featured on Explore Meditation?
Firstly, a quick background…
Moderating this website has created some great friendships for me. A variety of people around the world with spiritual interests and positive beliefs. Comments are also left below the posts (and sent to me directly) from divine people with knowledge, talent and insight. I follow many of the links back to blogs and sites that contain really valuable information.
So in an effort to build the spiritual community associated with Explore Meditation, I have decided to “Feature” a select group of people with a message they wish to share.
If you are a blogger – submit a great post in the style that you usuall write, and at the end, introduce yourself and what you wish to achieve. Impress people and then invite them back to your site.
If you have a meditation pack, or you create meditation music – you can include audio samples.
If you just love writing and exploring spiritual insights – reach a large audience and proudly call yourself a published author.
I’m happy to explore any method of interaction and promotion to enhance the users experience and build our community.
I have put a lot of effort into creating Explore Meditation and new and repeat traffic continues to grow. It is full of unique content and it is now regarded as an Authority Site in the Meditation and Spirituality niche.
You can get the instant benefit of traffic clicking through to your site, and the ongoing credit of the return link to raise your Google Rank for your selected keywords.
It MUST be a quality site with information or products that would be suited to my audience. (This is completely up to my discretion.)
Interested? Keep Reading before you start writing!
This is more than just an opportunity to get a return link from a high-PR site. It’s an opportunity to reach a huge audience of readers and get your name better known in the online world.
Now if I just wanted generic content I would go to an article site … But I don’t want uninteresting and regurgitated articles. I want posts so fresh they smell like spring!
Your guest post should be the best work you can create. It needs to be vibrant, engaging and informed writing.
Guest Post Submission Guidelines
You can pitch your idea and request feedback before writing the post – or submit a completed post for evaluation.
The post must be your original work and previously unpublished on the internet. It must not be a post that is already on your website, and I will be using CopyScape to ensure this.
If you wish to post the article on your own site – it must be two months after it has been published on Explore Meditation, (Published not Submitted).
You are not permitted to link to a 3rd-party affiliate product. You may only link back to your own website. If you are linking to a product and you have an affiliate program, I may join your program and overwrite your links with my Affiliate ID.
A link must be placed on your website (from a ranked page) with a link to the Explore Meditation website. I will provide you with a suitable link once I have seen the content of your website.
- The post must have a suitable title, (though I reserve the right to change this for Search Engine Optimization benefits).
- The post must have a 2 or 3 sentence introduction or summary.
- The posts must be at least 450 words in length. The upper limit is not as important but 1000 words is a rough marker.
- If grammar and spelling aren’t your strong points, Spell Check, or ask a smart friend to take a look at it before you send it to me.
- Sending it as a word document or simple text email is fine.
I reserve the right to edit your post if I feel it is needed. This doesn’t mean your writing is bad… but it needs to suit the feel of Explore Meditation so that it works best for my audience.
Elements of your Guest Post
Your post should have an introduction, main body, conclusion and Bio Tag line.
- The introduction needs to draw readers in and set up your post.
- The main body is the bulk of your post, and it should be easy for readers to take in. That might mean using subheadings, lists, bold text and other formatting to help improve readability.
- The conclusion to your post should round things off and provide some call to action which will help the blog and perhaps encouraging readers to leave a comment.
Don’t forget to include a bio with your post; including your name, where you are from, what you wish to achieve.
Included in this bio can be a link to your domain and one deep link to specific information if you wish, (a keyword hyperlink). Please let readers know what they will experience when they click through an visit your site.
Please include a clear photo of yourself – and any other images that will assist your post. Attach them to your email in the best quality you have them (keeping them under 1meg in file size please).
A great way to add value to your guest post is to include links to other posts on Explore Meditation. This will help your post achieve a higher page rank and creates a much better impression than trying to stuff your posts with links back to your own site (which will improve your chances of getting your post accepted).
If you haven’t already, please read several of the existing posts on Explore Meditation as a style guide. We are all relaxed and friendly in nature. Personality is encouraged – as is having fun with your subject matter.
What kind of content will you accept?
All guest posts must contain relevant content to Explore Meditation. The good news is that this subject matter is quite broad. Look at the categories in the left hand side menu for starters.
Please make contact via the contact page. If you have an attachment, you will need to make contact first and wait for my return email.
I usually respond to you within 48 hours with a yes, no or yes with alterations. If I reject your post outright, you are obviously free to use it in your own blog or as a guest post elsewhere.
Any questions – please ask 🙂
