It is believed that each individual is born with clairvoyant powers. Yet because we aren’t conditioned to develop them, use them or fully understand them, we sometimes think it is only for the gifted or chosen few.
However, we are all capable of developing our clairvoyant powers through understanding, a little patience and some practice.
Clairvoyance is a French word dating back to the 17th century. Clairvoyance means clear vision. A person who has developed their clairvoyant powers has the ability to gain information by using their extrasensory perception or ESP.
Here are some tips to helping you develop your extrasensory perception and utilize your clairvoyant powers:
Meditate
This is the most important of all of the techniques. Take time each day to meditate and clear your mind of the daily stresses that bombard us. A clear mind will allow you to open yourself up to new possibilities.
Believe
Believe that clairvoyance can work for you. Know that each individual is capable of utilizing this skill to better understand his or her path. So keep your mind open to the possibility that you too can possess this skill.
Trust Your Instincts
Let go and trust your instincts. We all have an innate ability to sense the world around us and respond to it accordingly. Trust these feelings.
Cleanse and open your charkas
Be sure that your charkas are open and flowing freely. In order to tap into your extrasensory perception, your body and mind should be open, flowing and able to receive information and energy.
Practice
Nothing comes without practice. Each day find some opportunity to practice this skill. Try some simple exercises to get the mind flowing. Here are a few examples:
• When the phone rings try to visualize who is calling before picking it up.
• If you’re standing in line at the bank try to predict which window you’ll be called to.
• If you’re in the coffee shop try to predict what the person in front of you is going to order.
• Use playing cards. Shuffle the deck and the try to predict what card is on top.
These are just a few exercises to get you started. As you move through your day you can create your own.
It is only a matter of unlocking your subconscious mind and tapping into your extrasensory perception. These powers come to us naturally and with a little practice you too can enhance your vision to the future and the past.

I love this… Meditate, Believe, Trust, Open and Practice. So simple… What tools have been the biggest help for your Psychic Growth? Nigel.
Various things such as Dreams, Premantions, Psychometry, Colour, Clairvoyance, visual meditation and most of all a Belief, a Faith in The Great Spirit Our Creator. I believe God is my good right hand in all areas of my physical and my spiritual life. I believe that when we serve others we nurture our soul on it’s journey, we give our soul and spirit water to quench it’s thirst for goodness.
That’s just beautiful Pauline! Thank You. I LOVE that FAITH is on top of your list
And also, quenching our spiritual thirst through service, I just love it. Many blessings to you. Nigel.
Hi Nigel, nice to here from you again. I would like to know how to get my own psychic power energy by using Meditation. And how to meditate using the breath properly. I think lot’s of people do meditation using the wrong breath. Maybe I am also wrong in how I meditate as I have my third-eye, but I don’t know how to see in the spirit world. So tell me how to do it all, Thank’s.
Hi Ray. Click How To Develop Clairvoyance to rocket launch your Psychic Growth. And yes, I agree that many people don’t ‘really’ know how to breathe.
Yoga is the best teacher there. In the west, most yoga classes do physical yoga for the most part, then finish with a still meditation. In the East, the yoga IS the meditation.
Correct instruction, and then practice to remain aware of your breath, until it becomes naturally correct is the key. Namaste, Nigel.
Hi Nigel, I must say your meditations have really helped me. I am still having problems in seeing the white light, bit I am getting orbs now! It’s Brillant!
Glad to hear it Carol, that’s great. If you are getting Orbs… Celebrate! Just relax with the rest – and ‘when’ it is meant to be – it will be! Nigel.
Hi there Nigel
I’ve enjoyed this blog post as much as your others because I love your site. My question for you is from someone that likes to meditate we can never find the right level of relaxation to do it.
Is there any type of incense or something that you used to relax more that can bring you to a more relaxing point. Even if I clear the house of my husband and the family pets I never can seem to calm down enough to focus on getting into a deep meditation.
Hi Mel, Practice is the key. The more you try the easier it gets. PROMISE! And yes, sure… find a fragrance you like. Some are suggested to calm you, others increase your spiritual connection, others invigorate… but it is a personal thing. You could also try a hot bath for 10 mins before you start. And just set your intent before you begin. “Deep Meditation is good for me. I Deserve this time to myself to relax deeply. This next half hour is all Mine.” All the best! Nigel.
Hi Mel,
It is said that along with prayers, yoga and meditation, it generally takes about 12 years to get to a certain level then for a while it is dull slope after a while again you start seeing feeling hearing stuff.
The number of years you have done meditation along with yoga gets to a level higher and higher the younger you start say about 11 years or even as less as 9 years you get better by time one reaches their teens.
I have attended an ESP initiation class in INDIA where we were taught an exercise to develop our ESP, sometimes you see for a long you don’t but the sense of perception is developing inside is what my teaches says, you must be patient and practice which is the key.
